These felt flowers were made with hand dyed pure wool felt.
They are very simple to make and can be used as a brooch or on a hairclip.
They are proving to be a very popular gift amongst my family!
Enjoy!
Over the past few weeks I’ve gained an interest in dying my own wool! For these colours I’ve used food coloring, raro (which is similar to koolaid) and another salt replacement powder. I’m quite happy with how they’ve turned out! I’m starting small and gaining experience!
Easter will be here soon so I’m busily making chickens! These colours are my favourite! They’re quite easy to make and look great! They also have their own needle felted eggs!

Today I was busily crocheting some leaves for a necklace for my friend!
They’re quite easy and can be made using any wool and any hook!
Pattern here!
Enjoy!
Today, I’m quite pleased to say that I’ve learnt to wet felt! It’s quite satisfying!
I have also completed a crochet cushion cover!
This is a chicken that I’m crocheting for Easter! I used a great pattern found here
I also needle felted an egg to go with it!
The chicken is bottomless so the egg fits underneath it.
I used a slightly smaller hook than the pattern said, it makes it a bit firmer depending on the wool used. I used a 3.5 mm (E) hook as opposed to a 5.00 mm (H) hook.
I hope you enjoy it!
With a friend’s birthday sprung on me at the last minute, I needed something quick, easy and useful to make her. So, I came up with this mini coin purse! The beauty of it is that it can be made a thousand times with different colour combinations!
Approximate size: 6 cm x 7 cm
I’ve already made four, with people requesting I now make them one!
